Introducing another super cool riding instructor!

Meet Emma!

Hi I’m Emma and I’m from England, this will be my first summer at Coppercreek and my first at camp.20150331_134922

I enjoy exploring and going on little adventures. I do a lot of horse riding and enjoy skiing and playing golf.passion 7

I first started horse riding when I was 8 and since then I have taken part in Show jumping competitions and been on sponsored rides over XC fences as well as taking part in a Christmas musical ride. When I was younger I even got the chance to ride a pig!DSC_0095

This summer I am most looking forward to meeting you amazing people and working outside all day long!20150407_162328

We always love catching up with CITs after its been a few years! Introducing…

Madi McKinstry

Returning to Coppercreek? Wahoo, I’m living my dreams!
IMG_1413Hi everyone! My name’s Madi, and I was a camper for four summers and eventually a CIT for two summers. My last summer was in 2010, so it’s about time I get to come back to the best place in the world! I’m so excited to be returning as a counselor, and can’t wait to meet happy new faces and reunite with old ones. IMG_3616 - Copy

I am from Steamboat Springs, Colorado and currently attend Montana State University in Bozeman. I am working towards a double major in Global & Multicultural Studies and Latin American & Latino Studies. I love to travel and through my ski racing, I’ve been able to visit handfuls of countries in Europe and been fortunate enough to live and train in France for a winter. I also love playing in the meowtains whenever and wherever, and splashing around in any river I come to. And sometimes I like to climb up rocks. 479799_474034265947601_1798518223_n

Where are my capture the flag lovers at? Running through the forest on capture the flag night was probably the highlight of my summers as a camper, so remember your camouflage and let’s play! My boondoggle skills are a tad rusty, so I am looking forward to having boondoggles upon boondoggles hanging off my water bottle again! Can you tell boondoggle is my favorite word?

Introducing one of our fabulous riding instructors… Welcome Charlotte!

Hi Coppercreek Campers!

Photo #5

My name is Charlotte Lindo and I am joining the team at the barn this summer! I am from Christchurch, which is the South Island of a little country called New Zealand. This is my first time at Coppercreek this summer and I am beyond excited for it!

When I’m not at camp I work at a local coffee shop in my area. I have graduated from high school so I am having a gap year before I head to university! My main hobby is that I ride horses. I have owned my own horses since I was 12 years old. I now have a 16.3hh station bred horse called Big.Photo #4-2

I compete him in anything from Show Jumping (which is my favorite) to eventing and dressage. Although Big’s favorite thing to do is gallop down the beach or trek through the forest. I have been riding horses since I was 8 years old and it is my absolute favorite thing to do.

The thing that I am most looking forward to about camp is being able to share my knowledge of riding with all those eager to learn! As well as experiencing the Coppercreek camp family, not to mention the American way of life. I can’t wait to meet so many of you and learn so much more! Something I just thought I’d share with you is that I have an identical twin sister! Unfortunately we were never identical enough to swap classes and things but doesn’t mean I didn’t dream of it.Photo #2-2

Can’t wait to see all of you guys in a couple of months 🙂
